Entry to the Festival Precinct is FREE! But while you’re there take advantage of our free and affordable ukulele workshops. There are over 20 workshops on offer catering from beginners to advanced musicians. Cost of workshops range from $15 to $30 and they’re worth every cents.

Beginners are well catered for by the Beginners Ukulele Oasis (Beginners Bootcamp and Novice Songs sessions), Come Play Ukulele with Miss Jodie, and Ukulele Downunder Beginners with John Chandler.

Players of all abilities are encouraged to attend the mass Ukestration workshop by Mark Jackson & Jane Jelbart.

In addition, to our popular local presenters (Helena Bond, Ross Clark, Jason Darling, Derek Farrell, Trevor Gollagher, and Cath McCourt ), this year we’ve attracted experienced Australian presenters from along the east coast of Australia (Ruth Allen, Ian Porter, Tom Richter, Cathy Welsford), and three inspiring international artists with excellent teaching credentials.

Groups like The Pockets, Thin White Ukes and Brisbane Uketet are also offering workshops.
