SPRUKE—Brisbane’s Ukulele Festival precinct is TAFE Queensland Brisbane’s South Bank campus, 66 Ernest Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101.
South Bank TAFE campus is close to the CBD and is most accessible by public transport -bus, train, ferry. There is no public car parking at South Bank TAFE, and limited parking in the surrounding streets. We recommend public transport.

River Fire- Saturday 24 September
Brisbane Festival will stage the spectacular Sunsuper Riverfire at South Bank from 7pm on Saturday 30 September 2017. There will be a number of temporary road closures around SouthBank on that afternoon and evening that will disrupt traffic. There will also be temporary timetable changes for CityCat and ferry services as well as bus and train services. Based on previous years there will be no inbound traffic after 3:00 pm and until 8:30 pm.

There is now a new Secure Car Park venue behind TAFE Queensland Brisbane (under the new Woolworths and near the Southbank Station) a 500m walk around to Ernest Street (about 6 mins).The venue is called VULTURE STREET CAR PARK- 192 VULTURE STREET, SOUTH BRISBANE.Book online at secureparking.com.au.
There is no parking on campus at South Bank TAFE. There is limited metered on-street parking in and around the festival site which is patrolled by the Brisbane City Council.
There are several commercial parking facilities within walking distance,
South Bank Parklands (hourly rate), estimated walk distance 400m;
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, estimated walk distance 500m;
Queensland Performing Arts Centre (daily flat rate), estimated walk distance 750m;
