What is SPRUKE?
SPRUKE is Brisbane’s Ukulele Festival.

Where is SPRUKE?
The SPRUKE 2019 Festival site is at SunPAC – Sunnybank Performing Arts Complex. SunPAC is located next door to the Sunnybank Community and Sports Club, 470 McCullough Street, Sunnybank 4109.
When is SPRUKE 2019?
The weekend of 13 — 15 September. Spring!
SPRUKE will start with an evening concert on Friday 13 September. There’s workshops and live performances Saturday and Sunday, finishing with all the excitement of the Festival Finale on Sunday afternoon. A detailed program will be available closer to the festival.
How do I get to SPRUKE?
Close to the M1,M2 and M3, SunPAC is easily accessible and is 15 mins from the Brisbane CBD by car. SunPAC has lots of FREE carparks.

Where can I stay?
There are many options for accommodation close to the festival site at Sunnybank and the surrounding suburbs, caravan parks, hotels and B&B’s.

Can I perform at SPRUKE?
The main acts for the program will be confirmed very soon.
The ‘expression of interest’ to perform at SPRUKE 2019 will be available after that is announced.

When can I buy tickets to the SPRUKE events?
Concert Tickets are now available from www.trybooking.com. and search for SPRUKE.
When all of our events- concerts and workshops are released, all info and links to purchase tickets can be found on the Events page.

Do I need a Ukulele to be a part of SPRUKE?
If you have one bring it. There will be ukulele retailers and manufacturers here in the market if you want to buy a uke or accessories or check out the range at one of our sponsors stores. Find all our SPRUKE sponsors HERE.
If you can’t play you can still enjoy the concerts, open mic space jams and daily performances.
I’ve not played for long should I come?
YES! SPRUKE 2019 will have workshops for every level of ability from newbies to accomplished musicians. Designed particularly for new players is the Beginners Ukulele Oasis where you can learn a song every half an hour. As well as workshops there will be jams, an open mic space and concerts to inspire you.
