Youtube sensation and modern-day jazz ukulele diva from San Francisco Cynthia Lin is a very special guest artist at the Spruketacular Concert Saturday night 14 September
The world’s most dangerous ukulele group, The Ukulele Death Squad from Adelaide, blend their own ukulele style with Flamenco, Mexican, rap and Folk, in an energetic performance to leave audiences on a high, perform at both the Friday night Cabaret and Saturday night concert.
Melbournes’ The Thin White Ukes will rock the Cabaret, with their lovingly handcrafted arrangements of the Thin White Duke’s mercurial songbook.
Heroic, hilarious and hip, The Loveys bring their polished and sophisticated performance to Friday nights Cabaret, featuring swooning four part harmonies, spiced with the wit of four thoroughly modern women.
Rounding out the Cabaret line-up in the most delicious way is Brisbane’s own Mama Juju and the Jam Tarts. This all singing, all girl power band have an infectious energy and easily slide across musical genres from folk to country to jazz, rock and blues, swapping instruments between them as they go.
Australia’s quirkiest and possibly first Ukulele, Celtic/Folk, Reggae, Bluegrass band, Gypsy Rumble bring their high energy and fun the Spruketacular Concert Saturday 14 September 2019.
