Beginners Ukulele Oasis

ONLINE TICKET SALES are now closed. But you’re most welcome to just turn up.

Located outside the SPRUKE Command Center, C Block (Indigenous Wing), the Beginners Ukulele Oasis provides a quiet haven for beginners, away from the hustle and bustle of the festival furor. All Oasis activities are free. Registration is recommended as participation is limited to about 15 participants per session.

Beginners Ukulele Bootcamp

Get in early and kick start your day with Julie and Keryn at Beginners Ukulele Bootcamp. If you’re starting afresh on your ukulele pathway, Bootcamp will prepare you for participating in many of the festival activities.

Limber up with finger yoga and ear training, and build confidence with practice tips, and chord change and progression drills. Focus on mastering three chords per session.

• Sunday (A, D, E7) 9:00 am – 9:30 am

Novice Songs

Expand your repertoire of songs. Learn a new 2- or 3-chord song each half hour from our more experienced players at the Novice Songs sessions.

• Saturday 9:30 am – 10:30 am
• Saturday 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
• Sunday 9:30 am – 10:30 am
• Sunday 11:00 pm – 1:00 pm
