ENTRY to the festival precinct is FREE with many activities and performances that won’t cost you a cent! Be sure and get to the festival early so you can fit it all in!

Early birds can kick off with Ukulele Boot Camp to stamp out those bad practice habits from 8:30 am at the Beginners Ukulele Oasis.

Never played ukulele before? Mike Jackson’s All Ages Beginners Session will set your fingers on the right strings for festival success. Learn C, F & G7 and start playing hundreds of songs! Mike with his son Thom take to the SPRUKE Stage for Uke’n Play Ukulele at 9:00 am.

The Music Bazaar Stage starts popping at 10:20 with acts for the kids and the young at heart. Jimmy Hoopers’ Balloony Tunes  and the Makin’ Music with Mama Juju and the Jam Tarts will keep the fun going. While you are at the Music Bazaar grab a sausage sizzle or get your face painted. Then head back to the Beginners Ukulele Oasis to learn a new song every half hour.

SPRUKE 215 has free live music on three performing stages all weekend. The all-day rolling concert on the SPRUKE Stage, the buzz of the Music Bazaar Stage or chill out and eat while checking out the talent at the Koyama Sound Bite.

No uke – no worries! Borrow a uke, and try before you buy.

Julie and Keryn will have some spare ukes at the Beginners Ukulele Oasis for Ukulele Bootcamp (8:30 am and 4:30 pm on Sat and 8:30 am on Sun), and Novice Songs (11:00 am to 2:00 pm Sat, and 10:30 to 12:30 on Sun).
