Love to write a song, but don’t know where to start? Here’s your chance!
Two of our favourite BUMS are returning to Brisbane for SPRUKE. Jane Cameron and Kahiwa Sebire have each successfully launched original songs this year.
Kahiwa’s debut EP “First Kiss
Jane’s “Mercy of the Tide” album is available at http://www.janecameronmusic.com/shop.html
And the girls are back in town to show you how it’s done. Join them for their SPRUKE 2015 workshop, Let’s Write a Song.
This workshop is suitable for songwriters of all ages, kids included! It’s been a hit with children at festivals around the country.
Jane and Kahiwa show you how easy it is to write a song. Everyone is encouraged to be a part of the songwriting process as Jane and Kahiwa share some simple and surprising strategies for getting the creative juices flowing in a fun and collaborative way.
“My son (9 years old at the time) attended your song writing workshop in Cairns last year. When he got back to Melbourne he immediately put his new skills to work and wrote and recorded a song for a school CD.” Jenny, Melbourne.
“Have you ever wondered how these songs that you hear come about? I went to the Jane and Kahiwa’s songwriting workshop at SPRUKE 2013. Soon I was getting my ideas down on paper, AND understanding how the music fits the emotions of the words. Talk about a lightbulb moment!!!”
Marg, Brisbane.
