Ukulele Proves Popular

No Comments Regular Posts

Ukulele is proving increasingly popular in classroom music. If you teach ukulele in schools or lead a school uke group, come to the ukulele sharing and support day. Be guided and inspired by experienced teachers. Share your successes and challenges with other teachers.

This is the most exciting and affordable professional development you will go to this year!

The annual AUTLA workshop day runs from 9 am to 4 pm on the last day of the Queensland school holidays (Friday 29 September) at the South Bank TAFE campus. Ukulele teachers, classroom teachers with an interest in ukulele, music teachers offering ukulele, and ukulele group, band or club leaders will benefit from the wealth of talent and experience that contributes to the day’s fun and frivolity.

At SPRUKE 2017, AUTLA will provide a forum for ukulele teachers and leaders to discuss and share information about community and school ukulele groups, to play music together, and to have some serious fun! The day’s activities culminate in the 2017 AUTLA Inc Annual General Meeting at 4:10 pm.
