Regular Spruksters will notice the change to a one-day event. BUMS President, David Pedler, said, “There’s a challenge to deliver an event in the current situation, when circumstances out of our control can rapidly change. There was too great a risk logistically and financially for BUMS to hold SPRUKE 2021 in its usual format as a three-day event”.
Jo Kunde, Media Manager adds, “This one-day event showcases the essence of our activities at BUMS. It gives our members the opportunity to come together and celebrate their love of all things ukulele, performing and playing together, then sharing the fun with the wider community.”
This will be a COVID-safe event and comply with the Brisbane City Council’s current guidelines.
