Brisbane Ukulele Music Society Inc (BUMS), is excited to confirm that SPRUKE Brisbane’s Ukulele Festival is back for its fourth year on 13-15 September 2019.

Max Borchardt, BUMS President, will accept the handover from our sister festival Newkulele which wraps up today. The festivals are biennual, SPRUKE has the odd years, and Newkulele the evens.

The big news is the venue change for SPRUKE 2019 to SunPAC, Sunnybank Performing Arts Center. Max says, “SunPAC has so much to offer our festival, it’s an amazing venue with the latest facilities. There is also ample car parking and lots of options for accommodation nearby.”

The SPRUKE Festival has become known for its immersive and inclusive vibe with activities and experiences for all levels of ability. Ukesters can immerse themselves in live music all weekend with local artists and bands, and ukulele groups from all over Australia invited.

Stay tuned for more announcements soon.
