Introduction to Jazz – Duplicity
Have you always wanted to try Jazz, but thought it was too hard? Let Brendan Canty and Sue Kidd (Duplicity) introduce you to the joy of Jazz Ukulele in this hands-on workshop. Learn how to “jazz” up basic chord progressions with simple chord substitutions. Discover simple Jazz chord progressions found in many popular Jazz standards. This is an intermediate level workshop. To get the most out of this workshop, participants need to have a good knowledge of basic chords.
Duplicity has run a range of ukulele workshops (from beginner to intermediate level strumming/picking and jazz), at a number of festivals in Australia and New Zealand. Our workshops are hands on with participants playing ukulele throughout.
