McCarthy’s Session Players

McCarthy’s Session Players have been playing Traditional and Contempory Celtic music, under the guidance of Brendan Williams, for four years. We have five ukulele players, who tune to the key of D6, and play melody and chords. To suit Session playing, some our group will play fiddle/mandolin, whistle, guitar/ukulele/D whistle, and bodhran.
We encourage our audience to clap or dance to our music, and work out which key we may be playing in. We also welcome any questions about our repertoire.
